The numbers for Denver homes prices continue to show very positive news. The latest data from RealtyTrac is showing that home prices for the Denver area have increased 2% over just the past month.

This corresponds with what we’ve have been seeing from all other major data sources. Year over year price increases continue to be right around the 10% mark. In addition, the number of Denver foreclosures remains 50% lower than last year and inventory continues to be far below demand.

The newest report from RealtyTrac reveals the median price of a Denver-area home in July rose by 2 percent from a month earlier, according to Inside Real Estate News.

That increase brought the median to $250,000, which is 11 percent higher than it was a year ago. The national median is $174,500, which is up 4 percent from the prior month and 6 percent higher than July 2012.

The Irvine, Calif.-based company said Denver has the 10th most expensive metro area of the 58 included in the monthly report. Another interesting tidbit from the report: 24 percent of the homes sold in the Denver area during July were all-cash deals.
