Colorado Springs Homes: Prices Up 2.5% Year-Over-Year

 Some good news this month from Zillow for Colorado Springs Homes. According to their latest “Colorado Home prices and Home values” report, the average price for Colorado Springs homes has risen 2.5% from last year.

 It’s worth going to their site to read the full report here. You’ll see that nearly every metro area in Colorado has shown significant improvement in home prices. The only exceptions are Canyon City Metro area, Edwards metro Area and Sterling Metro area. Colorado Springs and the surrounding area, as well as Denver Metro area, have shown a very encouraging upward trend.

As we continue to see the number of Colorado Springs foreclosures decline, we should see a slow but steady increase in home prices for the area.
